biossance's customer service couldn't…

biossance's customer service couldn't care less about their loyal customers. i purchased something during the 25% off sale and a few days later there was a 30% sale going on. the difference is a few bucks but i reached out to them and sally / marie are completely useless incompetent "customer care" employees. they refuse to do anything about it because it's beyond the 48 hours for a price adjustment. so that means they would rather a high risk / pregnant woman during a pandemic go through the huge hassle and inconvenience of returning the item, waiting for the funds to credit back, and then repurchasing instead of just making a one time adjustment exception. TERRIBLE and a HUGE complete waste of time and i hope senior management takes notice.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have never heard of a company ending a promo at noon. This company did just that even though the code was still on their website and on Rakuten. When I “chatted” with the customer dis-service person said she couldn’t reactivate and honor the promo code for me even though it was ten minutes after noon. I have also never heard of a customer service rep who did not have the authority to honor a percentage off especially to a long standing, very loyal customer. This company treats their customers THE worst!

Charged me for items I did not order

Ordered a copper peptide facial cream. Package arrived with 6 other items I had NOT ordered but was charged for. Contacted customer service by email. They did respond but offered no apology for charging me for items that again, I did NOT order. It is up to me to ship them back so I can get my money back. I will NOT be ordering from this company again.

Worse customer service ever

Worse customer service ever. They barely respond and if they do, it's one story after the other. Placed an order on 2/28/2022 and as I type, their website still indicates they are preparing my order. I have called, emailed, done everything I can possibly do yet nothing has changed. I have 2 orders yet to be delivered and they have provided nothing. Not even tracking. Beyond tired

The WORST customer service

The WORST customer service. Received defective product which is no big deal, except to contact customer service takes days/weeks and they will ignore you unless you really pester them and even then they say they will resolve it and then never follow through with the resolution they say they’re providing, and are unresponsive after that. So I received a product I can’t use and have not been able to initiate a return or receive a replacement which is what they told me they would do.

Totally not what is promised

I absolutely hated the Biossance Omega Repair Cream and the Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum for their strong sodium hydroxide (lye) smell! By its early placement on the ingredients list, it is actually there in pretty high concentration. As soon as I applied it to my face, my skin was aggressively tingling and the smell was so overpowering that I had to promptly wash it off. Why in the world would anyone want to apply sodium hydroxide to his/her face? It is highly corrosive. Also, looking at the ingredients list, there was nothing innovative about it that would set these products apart from any cheap facial products off the shelf, apart from this squalane molecule that can actually be found in so many other products! I feel as though I have been lied to by this company and it seems to me this is the Theranos of facial products. I can see how they have been able to do a mega advertisement campaign, since it seems they have backing by the Melinda and Gates Foundation. Why, I ask? I fell for it and I wish I had my money back. These will go to the trash can.

i ordered eye cream last december

i ordered eye cream last december. i didn't open it until recently because i actaully received the same eye cream as a gift so i used that one first. when i opened the one i purchased, the cream didn't appear the same as the first.

i emailed biossance customer service. i sent them pictures and they immediately apologized. they offered to ship a new one or refund. i chose to have a new one sent since i really enjoy the product. i received quickly and seamlessly.

overall, customer service was polite and accommodating.

The absolute worst customer service

I placed an order for one item and a gift set on 2/3/22. When the package arrived, it only contained the item, and the gift set was missing. I reached out to customer service via chat. They advised that a replacement would be sent immediately. I didn’t hear anything back for a week so I reached out to customer service again. I tried the chat again and was advised via automated message that I could leave a message and someone would respond in 72 business hours (so two weeks?!), and also left a message at the number provided. Almost a week later and still no response so I sent an email. I received a response a few days later advising that a replacement would be sent and then another email asking if it was okay to send the individual items since the gift set was sold out. Another week passed with no updates or shipping info. I emailed again. The customer service rep surprisingly only took 2 days to respond and advised I should receive shipping info in 1-2 days. It is now 9 days later and more than a month since my order was placed. I was also given a promo code for $10 off that will probably expire before I receive my order. It really stinks that their customer service is so awful because their products are pretty decent if they actually send them.

Update: After several more emails back and forth with customer service, my order was refunded, but I was assured that I would still receive the items. Two weeks later and 8 weeks after my initial order, I received the items.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

The company may have great products as others claim, but they customer service is the worst. I placed an order in time for Christmas and it offered two days shipping. As we got closer to Christmas I checked and my order hadn't been processed so I asked them to cancel it since it wouldn't get here in time and they refused to cancel the order. They say they don't cancel orders they'll do refunds but they won't cancel an order. So they wasted time packing it shipping it I refuse the shipping and now they're fighting giving me my money back They ignored the better business bureau and now I'm just going through my credit card for a chargeback. I can't tell you if the products are good but I can tell you their customers service especially their rep Ginger is a nightmare.

Love the squalane face lotion and oils

I stumbled upon them at the time I was looking to change up my skincare products and I am in love with the squalane range. I've had compliments re: my skin for the first time in a long time, but moreover it feels incredibly light and moisturising, and smells amazing.
